Radar Shadow
Radar Shadow 8-pack
Sold in 8-Packs
Price: $59.95

Detailed Description

This “hybrid” wheel is perfect for smooth concrete or dirty tile surfaces when you must have grip. Because the hub is urethane, there are no debonding issues even with the softest material on the market. Shadow wheels roll faster than all others that claim the same grip.

Best for: Sealed concrete or dusty floors (slick/slippery surface)

Colors: Cloudy Clear on Blue hub

Specifications

  • Radar Shadow 80A wheels are 62mm in diameter and 43mm wide.
  • Nova material with blue urethane hub.

Grippy. Heavy.
Kent C. Forshette (North Liberty, IA) 2/8/2012 9:07 AM
I'm a ref, and 190 lbs, I was still sliding all over the concrete in the cheap hard wheels that came with my R3s. I needed grip, and Radar Shadow gave me that in spades. I tried a teammate's poisons before getting these. I think they're nearly identical, and I'll say these Shadows have never slid on me. One thing: these wheels will never be confused with light wheels, but I don't need light as a ref.

I love my shadows, dont get me wrong, If you take care of them, they will take care of you. The are my go to wheel when i dont know what I'll be skating on and how slick it will be. Painted or polished concrete, these wheels shine! I also use when I skate outside. I love them.... BUT If you have the choice, go with Atom poisons, they are just slightly better in all areas, and pretty much the same price. -Loki Doki

These wheels STICK
Allison Butterfield (Bovey, MN) 4/8/2011 9:43 AM
We skate on cleaned, waxed concrete and the hard wheels I was skating on were not good. I was having problems staying put on the corners, but these hybrid wheels are super sticky/grippy on almost every surface. I LOVE these wheels. The only drawbacks are they're too sticky for quixk T-stops and they seem to "gunk" up quick and require lots of cleaning. But plow stops are made easy with these.
