I started off with this wheel I was a bit unstable at first and and the pink version of wheel and they really helped a lot, For me after a wile they felt to sticky so I moved to a much harder and slightly narrower wheel.

Surprisingly Awesome

I bought a set of Flat Outs in 2008 and I am still skating on them. For skating tight ref lanes on dirty concrete, sport court, whatever, they allow me a great blend of grip & control (I can slide when I want to). I've seen other, more expensive wheels break down in a matter of months. These wheels have been the most reliable part of my setup. If you need an economic dirt-floor wheel that's gonna give you grip, this wheel is your new buddy.

Flat Out, Rad!

I've been skating on these wheels for about 2 months now and I'm totally digging them. Our rink has chitty sport court w/the little holes that gathers tons of dust an dirt, making it super slippery... but these wheels have been pretty awesome on it! I also skated on a super shiny grippy floor and loved them on that as well! Glad to have them in my wheel bank! Can't wait to try the thinner ones.. these ones offer superb stability.

Back Blocker

My first derby skates were (and still are) Riedell RS1000s. I bought them used from another skater and they had RED Radar Flat Outs already on them. Initially I was skating on a wood surface then when I changed to a different team I was skating on hockey sport court. These wheels are great on wood (I'm fast as hell) or sport court (I don't slip or slide). I used these wheels 3 years and only recently bought another set of Red Radar Flat outs because I flattened out the grooves and rounded out the edges on the old ones! No need to spend a ton of money on wheels! Flat Outs are affordable, durable, and perform when you need them! Want even better performance??? Changed up from ABEC 9s to Red Bones bearings wait till you see the difference!

Radar Review

I absolutely love my Flat-Outs! I skate on a finished wood floor (we practice at a skating rink) and when I was first sktaing on Fugitives, I was slipping and sliding and virtually had no grip. As a jammer, I can take tight corners and with the grip being as high as it is, I still have speed!
