Awesome in ALL WAYS!!
Diane Weed (Shelton, WA) 5/31/2011 3:56 PM
Yes, they STINK LIKE HELL, but it is sooooo worth it. My old wrist guards didn't protect nearly as well as these. I love the fact that my fingers and knuckes are protected!! LOVE this piece of gear, would NEVER skate without it!! Elle Guappoe Timber Town Derby

Love these
Heather Lokovich (Sparks, NV) 4/8/2011 2:19 PM
The only thing that would make these a bit more awesome is that if they were more breathable. These are very durable and I love the protection from them but DANG they stink (from being all leather). Overall....these are great.

defend your wrists, offend your nose
Cerebrawl Vortex (Milton Keynes Roller Derby) 4/7/2011 10:33 AM
I'll just say this upfront, and it's why I have to take a star off my rating, these wrist guards hold the stink in like nothing else. They are truly the worst smelling thing in my kit bag. The good news is that I've thrown them in the washing machine with no ill effects :) I totally feel secure and safe in these but as a ref I find score reporting a bit awkward... but then that's probably just me being stupid.

Back Blocker
Raven Rage (North Plainfield, NJ) 4/7/2011 8:31 AM
These were my very first wrist guards and I used them for 3.5 years before I had to buy replacement pair. They offer great protection on the track especially when you have to scrimmage with fresh meat and the girls can't stop and roll over your hands LOL But seriously these are great wrist guards for bouting or scrimmaging they offer a lot of protection for your wrists, the top of your hands and your fingers. I have only two complaints about them: 1) the black die bleeds onto your hands (even after 3 years my hands had black stains after practice) 2) When you buy new ones they are a pain in the ass to break in - tight as hell and you really have to wiggle your hands into the wrist guard. I strongly recommend purchasing these wrist guards!

Very protective
Lady Diesel (San Diego, CA) 4/6/2011 9:16 PM
These are a very protective wrist gaurd and highly recommended. They will protect your fingers when (if) you get them run over. The sizes are a little odd and are not always true. One pair of a size medium may or may not match the next pair. They should consider making half sizes.
