not a bad beginner skate...

I have been skating on these for over a year now. They were super comfortable for the first 6 months or so but now they are way too loose. I have to duct tape them to my feet to skate in them.
I would reccomend them to the casual skater, but if you are going to continue skating, upgrade.

These are a great skate for fresh meat but I would recommend upgrading as soon as you can. Pretty loose in the heel so there is plenty of slipping there but they have wheels attached and that's all we really need. They were my first set of skates and they are what I was wearing when I broke my collar bone - wore them to the hospital and everything, they felt fantastic to wear after 6 months off skating.

With the weather warming up I needed a pair of outdoor skates. I bought these with the Sure Grip Motion wheels about two weeks ago and I love them. The boot is soft like a squishy cloud. I've worn them twice about two hours each time and my feet felt fine afterward. No break in time. For the price I think they are a steal. They come with the "swirl" indoor wheels. If you didn't mind changing the wheels out you could have an indoor and outdoor all purpose skate with just this skate and another set of wheels and bearings for under $200.00!

I have been skating for 5 months with these skates and they fall apart really quick! I got them when I started derby because I didn't know if I was going to stick with it and didn't want to splurge on leather skates. They broke in quick. Now my strap is about to fall off on the side that is sewn in. I wouldn't recommend these skates.
